Beginning in 1879, we are Linn County's First Children's Human Services agency. We are always evolving to serve the needs of our community. Our programs focus on prevention, treatment and outreach and serve children and teens of all ages. As a non-profit organization, Tanager is proud to support more than 4,000 children per year.

Job Details

The Residential Services Director will provide direct leadership for residential services while engaging as an organizational leader supporting agency mission. This position will oversee the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of residential services and ensure the highest quality of care for youth and families. This role will effectively monitor the operations, budget, culture, customer service, and overall functioning of the program. 

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited college/university in Social Work or a related field
• A minimum of four (4) years' previous supervision experience, including hiring, training and supervising numerous team members
• Familiarity with the Medicaid system and area resources
• Iowa licensure required
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License and meet the Agency's driving requirements
